Our Bethel Angels

At our Church Service on Sunday morning you will be met at the door with bright shining faces.  These are our Bethel Angels.

We have many Bethel Angels, Greeters, Ushers, Readers, Communion Assistants, and those who help by folding bulletins and newsletters, those who help with potlucks, cleaning, setting up, working on the lawn or weeding.  Whatever, needs to be done to keep the church functioning the Bethel Angels are there to help and to make everyone feel apart of our Bethel Family.  Here are some of our Angels at work.

                                 Our GreWorkers at Betheleters

What are the requirements to be a Bethel Greeter:     You have to arrive 15 minutes before the service begins.  Introduce yourself to the ushers so they know the greeters have arrived, Wear a "Greeters" name tag.  Stand close to the main entrance.  You are encouraged to bring your children to greet with you.  Greet and welcome everyone who come to worship.  A Greeter is extending a hand of Christian friendship and a warm smile of God's Love.

Bethel Ushers:There are a lot of things ushers have to do.  Arrive early, turn on lights, unlock doors, turn on heat or air conditioning, greet people and give out bulletins, assist people to their pews if required.  Take offering at appropriate time, count attendance, instruct people when to go forward for communion, pick up after the service is over.  Don't be afraid to introduce yourself or ask how you can assist someone.  Remember an usher is courteous, tactful, friendly, discreet and should even have a sense of humor.

If you are willing to share your talents with the congregaton by agreeing to be an usher or a greeter, please contact the church office, we would love to have you on board.

Our folders are volunteers who come in to fold the bulletins every week and put the newletter together for mailing once a month. If you would like to help with either of these jobs, please contact the church office at 303-364-2245.  We always need helpers.
