Ministry team updates:
Missions→Wholly Kicks is always in need of tennis shoes ($20 or less- men’s, women’s and kid’s).
Fellowship→Our Upcycle events will continue to take place- keep an eye out for a great time of fellowship.
Music and Worship → Wednesday night Advent services are beginning soon. We hope you can join us.
Discipleship → Bible study is happening 3 different times a week focusing on Acts.
Stewardship→ we are continuing to look at ways to steward your donations in the best way possible.
Finances:
Our income for the month of October was $20,259.09 and our expenses were $21,195.05 leaving a net loss this month of $935.96. We did pay the final payment toward the sewer repair (total was $20,000). This is why we are having more expenses than income. If anyone would like to give to specifically help pay for the sewer line that would be appreciated. We have seen about $5,000 come in specifically labeled to help pay for the sewer. If you do donate for something specific, please remember to write in the memo of your donation or let the office know. Thank you all for your continued giving! We are beginning to get a regular monthly income from the parsonage rental which is a good supplement.
General Updates:
We are getting quotes on a security system for the church. We will update when something is in place.
As you may have heard the Comcast lines were cut multiple times. Comcast has fixed this issue. We do not believe it was anything against the church, just an easy (low) target for someone possibly wanting copper to earn money from.
Our congregational meeting will take place in January- as will our new SLT be starting. We are in need of some volunteers- if you are interested, please talk to myself or Pastor about this great service opportunity.
