Ministry team updates:
Missions→ Keep an eye out for an email for donations for a fall drive. Wholly Kicks is always in need of tennis shoes ($20 or less- men’s, women’s and kid’s).
Fellowship→If you have ideas for fall/winter gatherings let us know!
Music and Worship → Chamber Choirs continue to provide us beautiful special music
Discipleship → Bible study is happening 3 different times a week focusing on Acts. Intergenerational Sunday School will be taking place every other week!
Stewardship→ we are continuing to look at ways to steward your donations in the best way possible.
Our income for the month of September was $22,055.79 and our expenses were $23,401.57 leaving a net loss this month of $1,345.78. We did pay $7,000 toward the sewer repair (total was $20,000) in September with the final payment in October. This is why we are having more expenses than income. If anyone would like to give to specifically help pay for the sewer line that would be appreciated. Thank you all for your continued giving! We are beginning to get a regular monthly income from the parsonage rental which is a good supplement.
We are in the final stages of donating the preschool items. If you know anyone in need of the big items (shelves, walls) let us know as those are difficult to donate. Or if you know a way to repurpose them that would be helpful as well.
There was an incident recently when someone tried to break into the church by the office door- this has heightened our need for a security system of some sort to keep our building safe. Keep an eye out for more details.
Until next time, Blessings, Jamie Villante
