With all the rain we had this past month, our basement has flooded several times. A big thank you to Jon Lohmer, Marv Kelly, and Rick Breiding for their help in cleaning out rain gutters, mopping up floors, and resealing basement windows for future heavy storms. Highlights from our April 2023 Meeting: Over $400 was collected for Casey Howshar at the Easter Breakfast 700 pounds of food was collected for Aurora Interfaith throughout Lent $1475 was collected for Lutheran World Relief Turkey/Syria Earthquake Relief throughout Lent. The SLT did not meet in December due to the holidays, with members who were leaving on trips or too busy with Christmas preparations. Dear Bethel family, We had our SLT meeting on May 1, 2022. We discussed many topics: The Glass door by Pastor Barb’s office replacement cost: $8,000/ but insurance will pay $7, 000. Our cost will be $1, 000. Altar guild outside door needs repaired. Media equipment being updated. Fellowship hall redone. With an endowment fund.

We are encouraged that masks are no longer to be required and there are no number restrictions for worship.
