Music is an important part of our community at Bethel. We can express ourselves through song (Psalm 71:23) and instrument (Amos 6:5). Our desire is for music to create a deepening faith experience in and through worship at Bethel. Through leadership of different choirs and musical performances we make an attempt to glorify Christ in and through our gift of worship. Through traditional and contemporary worship, as well as special services, our hope is to create a spiritual experience that meets you where you are.
Our Adult Choir is directed by Megan Buness. A graduate of St. Olaf, where she received her B.A. and the University of Denver, where she received her Masters in Music, Megan brings a vibrancy to our choir as they tackle both much from the past and the present. It is not uncommon to find yourself caught up in something new and vibrant. The Choir continues to grow with new and exciting music as they lead Bethel in worship. You can see our adult choir at our 8:30am service and during our annual Christmas Cantata in December.
Hymnists are our musical worship leaders. We deeply value our hymnists leadership. Hymnists are available at each service to lead us in our worship songs, both hymns and contemporary songs.
GRACE FLOWS DOWN is directed by Kathy Harrison. In Spring 2004, founding director and former Minister of Music Tam Smith created this magnificent Praise Team to lead our Peace Service. They are filled with enthusiasm, joy, and a great sound. GRACE FLOWS DOWN leads worship on the 3rd Sunday of the month at the 8:30 am service and leads worship for special services as well.

Under Doris’ leadership, Handbell choir has been a consistent part of our music offering since 2016 on a small scale to enhance the season of Advent and in 2019 moved to a full choir. It is a pleasure to play bells and enhance the worship experience at Bethel.
In September of 2018, the Well started on a Thursday Night for a monthly worship service for those to come and be refreshed and spend time in God’s word and message. This has since moved to our 11:00am service on the 1st Sunday of the month. The Well is our most contemporary service consisting of testimonies, videos, and activities.
